Potter's House Ministries

Apostle Alzo Slade Sr. and Dr. Teresa Slade currently pastor Potter's House Ministries located in Perry, Florida. They are teachers of the word and believe that God's people are empowered by the word of God.

Pastors:

Apostle Alzo Slade, Sr. has been active in ministry for over nineteen years. Apostle Slade has spoken at various conferences and seminars. He frequently conducts seminars on motivational gifts and equipping the church. He's been blessed with the gift of healing, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, deliverance, gift of prophecy, and the gift of faith. He teaches with simplicity, visual illustrations and humor. Apostle Slade is a faithful member of Christ the King Ministry, which is an Apostolic Board. He is also the overseer of Second Chance Apostolic Ministry, Sylvester, Ga, Abundant Life Ministries of Eufaula, Al, and the Triumphant Church of God, Quincy, Fl. He is self-employed as the President and owner of Slade's Woods.

Dr. Teresa Slade is an ordained Pastor. She has been in active ministry for over seventeen years. She is the founder of Women to Women Ministries of Perry, Florida. She also ministers in song and believes that praise and worship brings us into the presence of God. Her desire for the church is that everyone knows who he or she is in God and that they walk boldly in their anointing and calling. Dr. Slade received a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies, a Masters Degree in Christian Education & Evangelism and Doctorate Degree in Theology from Truth Bible College and Seminary.

The Slades reside in Tallahassee, Florida and have three sons, Alzo, Jr., Maurice, and Michael.

Assistant Pastor:

Pastor Gary Scott has been in ministry since 1997. He has a heart for young and old men to know who they are in God. He was called to be a light to all men. He believes that men should be all they can be in the body of Christ. He desires for them to experience the fullness of God. Pastor Scott enjoys teaching and preaching the word of God. He is a man after the heart of God and willing to do what God desires for his life. He also serves as the Men's Ministry leader and Prophetic as well as Praise and Worship Team member. Pastor Scott was born and raised in Monticello, Florida, where he resides with his wife Shannon. He has three children, Latonya, Dionne and Gary.

Youth Pastor:

Pastor Valerie Ellis has been a member of the Potter's House Ministry since 1997, serving as an Evangelist. Pastor Ellis will never forget the beginning of her interesting journey and call to minister to children. She was chosen by God April 8, 1990 to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2001, she accepted the call to be a spiritual servant to the Youth Department. She was ordained Youth Pastor in 2002. Pastor Ellis is an active minister of the word of God. She has reached out to minister in Prisons, Nursing Homes, and to the sick and shut-in. She has worked with the elderly as well as gospel groups. She is a member of the Dance and Praise and Worship Teams. She encourages people to hold on to God and don't let go. Pastor Ellis was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. She relocated to North Florida in 1983. She has four sons, Steven, Teree, Darius and Christopher and nine grandchildren.
